  1. Prepare: Make a loop at one end of the wrap and slip it over your thumb. The loose end should be on the back of your hand.

  2. Wrist Support: Wrap around your wrist three times, ensuring it feels secure but not too tight. This provides crucial wrist support.

  3. Thumb Wrap: Go across the back of your hand and wrap once around your thumb. Then, go back across the back of your hand to your wrist.

  4. Knuckle Padding: Wrap across the back of your hand and around your knuckles three times. This creates padding to protect your knuckles upon impact.

  5. Finger Separation: Now, you'll wrap between your fingers to keep them aligned and prevent them from hitting each other.

    • Bring the wrap across the back of your hand and down between your pinky and ring finger.

    • Wrap it around your wrist.

    • Bring the wrap across the back of your hand again and down between your ring and middle finger.

    • Wrap it around your wrist.

    • Repeat this process for the gap between your middle and index finger.

  6. Secure Knuckles and Hand: Wrap any remaining length around your knuckles and the back of your hand to secure everything.

  7. Finish at the Wrist: End by wrapping around your wrist and securing the Velcro closure.

Key points to remember:

  • Keep your hand open and slightly tensed while wrapping.

  • The wraps should feel snug but not so tight that they restrict circulation.

  • Ensure the wraps cover your knuckles adequately.

  • The wrist should feel supported.

  • Support: They provide stability to the wrist joint, reducing the risk of sprains and hyperextension.

  • Alignment: Wrapping helps keep your hand and fist aligned, which can improve punching power and reduce the chance of injury.
